Mission Statement

The Boston Intercollegiate Community Service Organization was founded on the principle of serving others as a vehicle for personal growth. Its only membership requirement is, and always will be, that one should be willing to give. BICSO strives to unite Boston's colleges in service by creating a unified, powerful and enthusiastic student service force to affect positive change. We focus on service directly related to health and education because both are the building blocks of a successful society. At BICSO, we strive to bring Boston together by using one of its greatest resources, the institutions of academic development, to further health, learning, and most importantly, hope within the city.
